Community volunteers needed for upcoming 9Health Fair

MEDICAL EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED; bilingual individuals NEEDED

COMMERCE CITY, COLO. – Looking for a fall service project for you, your family or non-profit organization? Volunteer at one of the largest Family 9Health Fairs this November in Commerce City.

The second annual Commerce City Family 9Health Fair, or Feria de Salud, will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5 and Sunday, Nov. 6 from 7 a.m. – noon each day at Adams City High School, 7200 Quebec Parkway.

Volunteers are needed both days from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help with registration, directing people through the fair, sharing information about services offered and parking. Bilingual individuals that can help interpret and translate information are also desired. Volunteers are not required to have a health background. Since 1987, the non-profit 9Health Fair has been promoting health awareness and encouraging individuals to assume responsibility for their own health. The 9Health Fair provides free and low-cost health awareness and educational screenings statewide, impacting 1.7 million individuals to date.
