New Legislative Healthcare Initiative Proposed

Makes the Law a More Effective Partner in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO (November 8, 2010) – Judith I. Ham, President and CEO of United Cerebral Palsy Colorado, Inc. and George D. Dikeou, Esq., attorney and legislative consultant, will speak on a new legislative initiative being proposed in Colorado to compensate injured patients, improve patient safety by ensuring that physicians and other healthcare providers learn from errors, and hold physicians and providers accountable for the quality of care they offer. "The Legal Environment of Medicine: Making the Law a More Effective Partner in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety" is sponsored by Colorado Healthcare Strategy & Management (CHSM), and will be held on Friday, November 19, 2010, from 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. at the Doubletree Hotel Denver Tech, 7801 E.
